KRIS KIDS’ FEST 2016

At Chavara Kindergarten , the whiff of celebration is always in the air. And this time round, our chirpy little ones went a step further and bagged the first-runner up trophy at the Kris Kids' Fest '16 held at Kristhu Jyothi Public School, Changanacherry on 29th October. Seventy three LKG and UKG students participated in the hotly contested events.

Guruvandanam 2016


Celebrations at Chavara Public School- whatever they may be – are conducted in a unique and innovative way.Teachers’ Day celebration was conducted in two stages. In stage one, small groups of teachers and students from the school visited 41 retired teachers in and around Pala, including Prof. A T Devasia, the former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, honoured them and interacted with them. It was a memorable meeting for both the visitors and visited.
In stage two a special assembly was held in the presence of the Manager Rev. Fr. Alexander Paikada CMI, Principal, Rev. Fr. Mathew Kareethara CMI, Director, Rev. Fr. Sabu Koodappat CMI, PTA President, Adv. Joby Kuttikkatt and PTA Vice President Mrs. Prathibha Shaji to appreciate and acknowledge the valuable services of the teachers in making Chavara Public School one of the most sought after schools in Kerala. All the teachers were honoured individually on the stage with aarathy and awarded gifts. Essay writing competition for teachers and poetry writing competition for students were conducted and the winners were awarded gifts and cash prizes during the celebration.
